But, also- We aren't fancy. Our riches are found in our old farmhouse, growing garden, and mostly in our love for our growing children. Our family is our treasure. John and I have been married almost 20 years. I write children's books in my spare time. I homeschool our three children. We travel a lot together, because the world is too beautiful and wonderful not to. Our home is filled with art, music, home cooked meals, fresh baked bread, and quirky antiques that actually get used. It's the little moments that make life big- and we are so grateful that we get to celebrate and photograph those moments for other couples!

Who we are
Tassia here. I must say that it is entirely possible I am one of the most blessed people in the world. When I was only 14 I met a boy named John who would later be the love of my life. It was the very next year that he put a camera in my hand and we began together the adventure of love and life and photography. A number of years and nations & continents explored later, he put a ring on my finger and asked me to be his wife. 11 years, 3 awesome children, and some epic tales later- we are so thankful to have been invited to photograph over 100 weddings.
It's an amazing gift to be able to use our talents and experience to not only photograph the great celebration that will be your wedding day, but more importantly capture the magic between the two of you and all those you love.
Marriage, like any good adventure, isn't for wimps. To take someone's hand and say you are going to do life together til the end- that's golden, and it's our honor to capture your vows and do our best to make them art. It is our hope that your wedding photos will always remind you of the amazing gift that you have in each other.
We hope that one day you will sit on rocking chairs together, paging through your wedding photographs with wrinkly old hands laughing joyfully as you tell your grandkids what an epic adventure it all has been.
